Hayley Barr

Hayley found a passion for writing stories in grade five at Rouse Hill Public School. She is a self-published author, and is in the process of completing a Bachelor of Arts (Professional Writing and Publishing) through Open Universities Australia. Through her writing she seeks to encourage and inspire others and strives to help them pursue their dreams.
When not writing, Hayley enjoys reading, drawing and caring for her cats.  She spends most of her time in other worlds, an avid reader since a very young age.
Hayley loves coffee and cold weather. She is a huge fan of Star Wars, loves musicals and Disney movies and has an interest in ancient history and mythology.
More recently, Hayley has co-written songs with her dad, many of them centred around characters from The Shadowland Chronicles. 

Though born and raised in Sydney, Hayley lives in Wollongong with her cats and an extensive collection of books.

One of her favourite places to write is on the train, off on an adventure.
